Chicago Street Deli & DC Cake Appeal share honors for 2010 People's Choice Award
The winner of the People’s Choice Award at the 2010 Chamber Annual Auction and Tasty Affair, was a tie!
Chicago Street Deli AND DC Cake Appeal both took home the honors for this year's event! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
The award is judged by the event attendees and is based on both presentation and quality of food.
Both restaurants are annual attendees of the Tasty Affair and fan favorites.
The People’s Choice Award is sponsored by the Shawnee Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Shawnee is home of the first SONIC Drive-In prototype which originally opened in 1953 as the Top Hat Drive-In. In 1959, the name was changed to SONIC. In 2005, Shawnee became home to the 3000th SONIC Drive-In as well.
