CPN Eagle Aviary
The Citizen Potawatomi Nation's Eagle Aviary offers a permanent home to injured eagles who cannot live in the wild. See these majestic birds up close and learn about the spiritual significance of the eagles to the Potawatomi people. Tours are free, but should be scheduled in advance.
Stained Glass Tour
This tour features the beautiful stained glass windows of local historic churches, Oklahoma Baptist University’s Raley Chapel and the Abbey at St. Gregory’s University. Tours available for groups, and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Contact Visit Shawnee to schedule.
Horses in the City
Drive around Shawnee and see the if you can find all of the nearly 30 public art horses which were installed to celebrate the Oklahoma State Centennial. A map of the horses is available at the Visitor Center or can be downloaded here.
